Just got back from Cleveland - anyone from there?

    Just got back from Cleveland - anyone from there?

    Ok - so DH and I just got back from vacation to Cedar Point & Cleveland this past week...

    and OMG was I in freakin' atkin's HEAVEN in Cleveland!!!

    There is a market there that had all farm-fresh grass-fed home-made meats and every cut of every kind of non-processed fresh meats you could imagine!!! seafood - beef - pork - chicken - sausages like crazy!!! and right next door was a the fresh fruit & vegee stand.
    yeah - we bought all our meat for our cook-out this weekend there.

    let me just say - while i'd never take the weather that cleveland gets - i would LOVE to live next to this stand...i'd NEVER shop at walmart again!

    i was drooling.
    we brought home some wild-caught shark & halibut.
    5 different kinds of sausages & some grass-fed beef patties.
    dh also got some home-made hotdog buns (yay for no hfcs in that!) and some chaballa bread for himself as well.
    (btw, we had a huge cooler with us cuz we went camping in sandusky...so the 6 hour trip home was easy to bring home fresh meat).

    if only it wasn't a 6 hour drive...lol

    anyways - just wondering if anyone is from cleveland or has been there???

        Wow I haven't been to Cleveland but after that I want to check that place out, lol - I'm soo happy you enjoyed yourself and can be on a trip away from home and committ to Atkins - I know ALOT of people find that hard to do (including myself) If I ever go there I will think of you and look for this market stand - thanks for the tip! Have a wonferful 4th of July

            I absolutely love the West Side market. I work in Cleveland and we used to go there at lunch. I live 30 minutes from Cedar Point , grew up going there. Glad you had a good time here, that is awesome.
