Happy 4th of July!

To all the Americans overseas and in America (and of course everyone else who cares).

Question...How are you celebrating this year?

I made almond cookies with melted snickers on top (I had one with out snickers on top) and gave then to my mother. Then I grilled up some juicy pork steaks and made some mash (cauliflower and broccoli) for me and home made french fries for boyfriend. Tonight me and my brother are going to meet up and play pool. Fun Fun. I might have a 1 light beer, not sure yet.

Anyway...I hope everyone has a fun and safe day/night!

Going to a family cookout.I'll have a couple of hamburgers,hold everything but the meat.Few bottles of ice cold water.I'll be wearing a large tee and 35 shorts,compared to XXL and 42 last year.

I'm going to check out fire works but I'm keeping away from the berr until my birthday. I'll probably grill some meat outside in my yard if it stops raining here in Miami, Florida USA. I have a really nice back yard...I have a waterway that goes through it...a canal..good fishing back there..thanks!

Same here, man. I'm wearing size 35 shorts (40 last year), large t-shirt (XXL) last year, and a Cure Juvenile Diabetes rubber bracelet that I could hardly fit over my hand a year ago.

Funny thing about the t-shirt: it's 18.5 years old. It's my treasured Intramural Hockey Champion t-shirt from my college. We won it my freshman year, which was a huge deal at my college. To be able to fit in it, is really awesome.

My DH arrived from China yesterday so today is a family celebration since the boys and in-laws are all here. Special dinner- lobsters and butter and green salad. Steamer clams. Corn on the cob for them. Apple pie for the rest and fried chayote "apples" for me.

We had hamburgers/Nathan's hot dogs on the grill, they had grilled corn, I had grilled colored peppers, deviled eggs and mock potato salad - it was delicious!!!

Yeah I know, I didn't have it...really hard to find light beer in Holland. I opted for a nice cafe latte (with caffeine) with a few sweeteners. Gave a great boost even though I lost every round of pool I played . Strange but once I was there I didn't really care for alcohol...
Hmm anyway I had a great 4th of July..My brother made my day when he walked up to me (haven't seen each other in months) and he said "Darn girl, you look great! What have you been doing?!" Yeah that felt good.
I will be moving on the rung 4 tomorrow...perfect time for berries, might have to wait until Wednesday when I can get to the market..

I am rambling...so I will stop...caffeine+me=hyper Sorry

Happy 4th to One & All On The Forum & Their Families!!!

Tonight we had Burgers & Chicken on the Grill with a choice of Faux Cauliflower Rice Veggie Mix or Mashed Cauliflower Augratin & a nice Summer Salad with Homemade Bacon Ranch Dressing!!!

Then my Boyfriend jumped in the Pool for a swim, got out showered , dressed & just left for 3rd shift till 7:30AM!!!
