anyway, I'll stick with either my cheapie frozen cauliflower with no additives or fresh. I can just see Georgiana's eyes when these "thingies" rolled out of the package....ROFL!!!!

Kinda ingenius when you think about package meals for transport, though totally unwanted in this case and took up weight from your loverly cauli. But Good eye on catching it!

Not understanding German has its advantages though---it forces me to avoid buying processed foods. Who would have thought they add those little white monsters in frozen cauliflower...

LOL! Gravy Kisses?! What on earth are those??? I have a feeling they are frozen blobs of gravy, but that's just disgusting! And the name, "gravy kisses", is disgusting too...

Yeah, first I just saw one of these "thingies" in the bag and my first thought was, "damn, this stuff must have ended up in the wrong bag and I was the lucky one who bought it!" I tried sniffing it to figure out what it is, but so I threw it away (See? I didn't taste it. ). Then I found more "thingies" and thought there must have been an accident at the factory to drop all these white "balls" in my cauliflower. Sheesh! It took me some time to relate the "thingies" to the weird carb count...

I read your "thing" on cauliflower and ran out to the frig and checked my package out.
I always assumed that it was plain frozen cauliflower, my package said "4 grams carb, 1 gram dietary fiber and low and behold it has 2 grams of sugar."

I live in the country with a lot of farms and I think I will go back to the home grown.

Those 2 g must be the ones naturally occurring in cauliflower, so it should be fine.
