    Morning all

Just wanted some feedback from any women who are starting induction and then having a really hard time staying on during "their time" of the month...any tips?

I can sympathize. I went to the store yesterday and bought Atkins Chocolate Shake and also the chocolate coconut bars. I had a chocolate shake this morning and since I thought I'd start induction again tomorrow, I went ahead and ate one of the bars today. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day..but yeah..I definitely get chocolate cravings and want to snack..I think it's caused by the fatigue..I'm not sure...

Have you tried a legal desert instead of bars/shakes/chocolate, etc? There's a crustless pumpkin pie & other wonderful induction-legal desert recipes out there. A nice treat is decaf with sugar-free flavoured syrup (like DaVincis). Davincis has a chocolate flavour. I wouldn't recommend them for everyday, but if you can't resist cravings due to TOM, maybe you could try something legal instead?

My biggest challenge during TOM is exercise - I just don't want to - but I find I actually feel better if I do - so I just make myself do it (did today)

My suggestion - find something OTHER than chocolate to get rid of your cravings....if you continue to give in to chocolate you aren't making any real change....induction is the time to change everything about your way of eating....

Some people go the opposite way when they get cravings -- if they want chocolate they eat a pickle or a piece of cheese and it helps...try it.

Throw the bars away - you won't be able to eat them until they are old and crusty anyway....you are eating chemicals -- Atkins is made up of whole foods, meats, cheeses and especially veggies.

Try hard to break your chocolate addiction -- it's one less you'll have to deal with later.

Hi Julie, I'm sorry to sound like a total dummy, but what is TOM?

BTW, pumpkin pie sounds great. I didn't know there were so many great recipes to try on Atkins!
