    Hello Everyone,

    I just wanted to share something with you... for some of you it will not come as much of a surprise...

    I know I am not supposed to check my blood lipids before 6 weeks... but it was driving me crazy and I was very curious and maybe a little sceptical if I was being really honest... I had to check and see if I was doing better or worse since I had been on Atkins... Wow!!! to my surprise and now a very big source of great inspiration to lose the rest of this weight and stick to the Atkins Deit...

    As you know I started this diet on June 16 and three weeks later I have lost 15 lbs... that in it self was great news and the fact that I feel great is another... however the big thing for me is my huge change in blood lipids after just 3 weeks... My wife is a Gastroenterologist and was able to run my lipids before I started.... and after 3 weeks... here they are... I am sure they will continue to improve even more as I continue to lose weight... just thought I would share a personal victory with you... thanks for all your help... SLIMQUEST

    Before/After in just 3 weeks

    Fasting Glucose = 110 down to 89 = - 21
    Total Chol = 213 down to 171 = - 42
    Trigly = 231 down to 110 = - 121
