I have been on the Atkins diet since Jan 16, 09 and have had great success! but with that success, I find that my willpower is wavering. Sadly, I have been very VERY bad this weekend. I am too embarassed to even list all the bad things I have eaten. I convinced myself that since I've worked hard these last 6 months that I could slack a little for just ONE weekend and I promised 2 get back on track monday...im pretty sure you've figured out that it hasn't happened. I'm TRYING to re-start induction 2day and I'm hoping everyone could share some kind words of encouragement because I REALLY need them right about now...

Hang in there NOW. Get up and restart every single day and if you don't make it then start again tomorrow until the GOOD DAY finally happens. Right now your head isn't in it, but keep trying and don't beat yourself up if you don't make it through today, or tomorrow. It may take awhile but you CAN FIGHT the apathy and lack of motivation. I went through this six months ago and it is a battle but you are so close to that next goal. For some reason that's when I always slack off--when i am close to an event or goal. Then get frustrated because I don't seen to make it for months. You can do this. I am pulling for you. Us Jersey girls have to stick together!

Try to find what motivated you to get started and to do some well before you had your episode and try and link back to that. For it is a picture. I hate how I look in it and it helps me in tough times (we all have tough times).
This may also be a sign that it could be time for you do move to OWL when you get things going again. QWL will give you more choices and perhaps help you hang in there. But one step at the time. First back to induction.

Thanks so much for that! This is my 2nd day of induction and I am doin well so far...hopefully I can continue to stay on track. Finally being able 2 see two twenty-something on the scale is acting as a motivator for the time being...its a small goal but those are the best as they are easier to attain and I'm less likely 2 be discouraged.

Hi there im in the same boat as you I celebrated my bday and a year on atkins yesterday and had pizza and cake and all the rest crap you can think of. Im going to admit i have been off plan since saturday ,thats 4 full days .I felt guilty aswell but today is 1st day of induction so im more than ever determined and have set myself a new challenge.I wanna get to mini goal soo.We can both do it don't be upset just think positive it will take time but we'll get there.
