Now reply needed to this post.
But, in fit day, I put down a mini goal of 220 lb for July 11 th. back around June sometime. I did it so I could calculate my caloric expenditure. I really did not care if I reached it or not. Today I did reach that little goal, and was totally surprised because I really didn't try to lose the weight. Cheez...three days ahead of time did I reach my goal. Fit Day calculated that I needed to eat about 1900 calories per day. Nuts I said to myself. My calories never fall below 2400. In fact, I might eat up to 4000 calories per day during the weekend. Yup, 3555-4000 calories per day. I do stagger my caloric intake though, and I still come up with about -250 caloric deficit weekly.
Exercise, apparently is not about length of time but intensity. I'm talking about when I think I reach muscular failure, I quit concentrating on the muscle worked and go into some sort of altered state of reality akin to a meditative state. Aum, out there. I let go and I crank about an extra 3-4 reps. I eat about 6 times per day. So far, I've drank 2 tablespoon of olive oil, CLA, Cod Liver Oil (1 teaspoonful) 2 cups black coffee, 16 oz. of green tea (Arizona) sweetened with Splenda (also it contains honey...but the carbs are >1 gram...Cheez, stall city..), 0.30 lb. of steak and 4 oz. of cod fish. That was about 7:30 a.m. At 10:30-11:00 a.m. I'll eat a tuna salad comprised of 2 servings chunk light tuna (I like Bumble Bee and not Chicken of the Sea because of what Jessica Simpson said in an interview..
), one hard boiled egg, and 1 tablespoon of Helman's Mayonnaise. My Lord! The mayo might contain a trace amount of sugar..egads...I'm doomed...
The moral of the story? DON'T BE DESPERATE TO REACH A GOAL! NATURE WILL TAKE CARE OF THAT FOR YOU.
