  • Help!

Had a wicked 4th, was in the middle of no where, falling asleep at the wheel and the only thing I had left in the car was water and chocolate. I had chocolate.

So I have now had to start over, only a lbs has come off and my TOM is coming, and I want chocolate again.

Would sauerkraut be ok with a sausage. I just want something crunchy and I feel nauseated, so nauseated. Blah.

Make an emergency kit to have with you when things like that happen. Here's a video Kent made: YouTube - Atkins Diet: Low Carb Emergency Kit

So I have now had to start over, only a lbs has come off and my TOM is coming, and I want chocolate again.
You don't have to start over, just continue from where you were. If you are during your 14 day Induction, keep in mind that the charts of metabolic resistance will not estimate your numbers correctly as you could have lost more had you not eaten off plan.

Cravings are common before/during TOM. Have "legal" foods around to avoid another cheat.

Sausages are fine on Atkins. If you are in Induction, as your profile info says, then make sure they don't have wheat, soy, etc. as fillers. Also check for stuff like dextrose and other sugars.

Sauerkraut is okay, but I'm afraid you'll have to make your own. The store-bought ones usually have hidden sugars.

      Re: Help!

That sounded stupid. Sorry. I should not post after midnight.

What I wanted to say is find a sauerkraut without sugar added, not wait for weeks for the cabbage to sour.

        Re: Help!

well in the car I had brolied chicken and my emergency pack, when I went to reach for it to wake me up...they had eaten everything while I was driving! I was so mad. The only thing left was a Snickers.

I started back on May 15th, and have lost 26 lbs total. So I am a bit disappointed in myself.

I knew what you meant with the Sauerkraut. I really want some. I guess I will just throw that out the window because I am just feeling blah. WHich is probably my tom and being back on induction.
