  • Keeping Track - daily

Just wondering how you keep track of your daily intake. I was trying to jot notes in my calendar and it's not working - I keep forgetting. Thanks!

I keep a piece of scrap paper in my kitchen and try to jot down what I eat (and drink, how much water for example). Then I transfer it to fitday.

If I am not home, I write it down when I get home. I have a bad memory but seem to do ok with that method.

    Good luck. Jane

sparkpeople is another great free site. You may want to check both sites out and see which one suits you better. Both do exercise too.

When I started Atkins I used a small school notebook to plan my menus, with the carb counter from the back of my DANDR to estimate my likely carb intake.

Then when out and about I wrote down all I ate in my PDA (so I would not forget anything) which I kept in my bag or pocket then copied the info into my main notebook in the evening when I got home.
