Is it true, that for some people that have been on ketosis before wether atkins or some other form, can get into lypolysis faster? Or is it pretty much based on the individual. My friend has started and couple days later was down 5 lbs. And she did do a form of lypolysis but it wasn't the right way...trust me, she hardly ate anything.

Re: Just a question.
It should be the same thing. We are all in ketosis every night when we sleep, regardless of our diets.
Your friend probably lost a lot of water weight, especially if she was eating a high carb diet. It's mostly water weight that we lose in the first few days.
PS: And if she has a lot to lose, that will have make her lose more and faster too. Good for her for starting Atkins instead of starving herself.

Re: Just a question.
Ketosis can also be caused by starvation.
That's what makes Atkins so nice---you don't starve and you still get into ketosis.
