hi. i'm doing great on atkins, but have always been struggling with fats (that is, keeping it at 65%) - i am quite sick of mayo and have gone as far as drinking 2-3 tbsp of olive oil just to keep up with the percentage. i read somewhere about UDO's oil, so i got myself a bottle of UDO's OIL 3-6-9 BLEND in gel capsule form. (i couldn't really take in the liquid form, as i have mentioned earlier i've been 'drinking' olive oil and i'm over that already!)
here are the info in the bottle:
per serving is 2 capsules. recommended intake: 2 capsules 3x a day (total of 6)
amount per serving:
calories 20
total fat 2g
omega -3 fatty acids 840 mg
omega-6 fatty acids 420 mg
GLA 1.8 mg
omega-9 fatty acids 420 mg
ingredients:
organic flax oil
organic sunflower oil
organic sesame oil
organic coconut oil
organic evening primrose oil
rice bran oil
organic soy lecithin
organic oat germ and bran oil
tocotrienols
in a gelatin capsule
my question is, can i consider this as a fat intake ---as in, can i log it in my fitday account, where it would be counted as fat %? or is this just considered as one of my many daily supplement intake? (i take multivits, vit C, CLA, calcium, fish oil, among others)
thanks!
