    Re: Advice PLEASE?

I ate a bagel & cream cheese for breakfast everyday for about 6 years before I started...I just cleaned all of the carbs out of my house (I was able to do this since my hubby joined me on this WOE & we don't have kids). I made up my mind that I was going to do this - then I did it. Nothing fancy, I just planned my meals ahead of time & stuck to the plan. The first week was rough, but I got thru it. It only gets easier from there. I feel like my brain has been re-trained - I used to plan meals around a protein, a starch and a vegetable, since that's what my Mom always did. Now I plan a protein, a vegetable and fat

Just do a 14 day induction to a "T" and you will find your desires changing. It all came naturally for me. I was going to do extended induction, but I am finding that I need to add those 5 carbs at this point or I will be sluggish. It's uncanny on how it is all falling together, on schedule, on it own. Its like Dr. Atkins knew "my" body and created this plan just for me. Its really incredible.

The main question is: do you like eggs?

If you do, then it's easy.

If not, then will-power is necessary to get through the first two days. Thereafter, you should begin to lose weight, which is a great motivator for keeping to the diet.

Started Atkins 28th April, at 216 pounds. Met goal weight on 9th July, at 176 pounds. New goal is to become trimmer without losing weight.

            Re: Advice PLEASE?

For induction-legal recipes you can take a look at the long thread called something like 'never ending induction recipes' in the 14 day induction forum where many members have posted their favourite 'tried'n'tested' dishes.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
