I went through induction fairly easily, and started a third week of induction before starting to get antsy and deciding (based on advice here) to move up to OWL rung one. The next couple of weeks went pretty well, and I continued to lose significant amounts of weight per week.
A little over twp weeks ago I started to get lazy with my eating. I never really "cheated" per se, but I stopped paying attention to how many almonds I was eating, or how much Nestea Zero I was drinking. My birthday was last week, and I went out for supper several times, and decided it was okay to drink aspartame-sweetened diet pop for these special occasions.
In what I'm sure was the decision that did the most damage, I had a two-week long splurge on Atkins bars. If you're considering eating one Atkins bar, or similar product, let me save you a couple weeks of stagnation or worse. They taste bad, spur cravings, and are bloody expensive. And it's probably pretty easy to tell where I "went off the wagon" by looking at my weight loss chart:

So after two wasted weeks, I'm smartening up. If I'm going to change my life 90% of the way (and get little or no results), why not go 100%, where I know from stories on this forum and elsewhere that this will work? Why play with my health and future success for an extra handful of almonds, or for a plastic-wrapped frankenfood? The good doctor says several times in the book something like "a small indulgence will hurt you, and can be the kiss of death for this program. I hope that I've learned my lesson over the past few weeks, and if I can save anyone else the hassle, even better: If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right. And for me that means "by-the-book".
