  • end of 2nd week of induction and headaches :(

I've been keeping to my normal 6 day a week cardio/weight workouts and yesterday after my 45 min run I got a really bad head ache. My trainer said that your fat cells store a lot of bad toxins and if I'm using them for my energy then this could be what's causing the headaches.

Has anyone ever experienced this? He said it should pass. Someone at my work said that happened to them on their 3rd week for an entire week and the headaches didn't stop until he quit atkins.

I'm loving the results so far. I don't want to stop.

    Thanks for the feedback!

I get headaches sometimes and usually it is because I need to eat something. I get them in the morning and at night before I go to bed. When I eat they go away pretty fast.

Try having something on hand to snack on and see if it helps. Also don't forget to stay hydrated during the training...you loose so much water from sweat you need to keep drinking.

Yes, induction was hard for me as well. I had headaches all the time when I was on it and vigorous excercise made them worst, however it will decrease as your body gets use to eating less carbs. Advil is your friend. I am starting induction again tomorrow and I will take advil before I go to the gym.

6 days a week of exercise during induction boggles my mind.

I get wicked headaches from dehydration especially in the heat--- are you drinking adequately before and during exercise?
