    Re: I have a thyroid problem! =D

If you discuss this with your doctor, I'm fairly certain he/she will tell you an underactive thyroid would not be caused by eating salt, or any other food for that matter. There really is a lot of misinformation on the internet, best to get your medical advice from a physician, IMO, the physician who knows you, examines you and reads your lab reports.

This confuses me. I'm having trouble understanding why you think you can't lose weight, especially when I look at your stats.

    S/C/G Weights: 65kg/54.5kg/50kg
That looks like weight loss to me.

This is a good site to get some good general information about hypothyroidism: Hypothyroidism - Symptoms, Causes and Treatments of Hypothyroidism and Hypothyroid Disease

Again, such info should never replace advice from your personal physician, but it should clear up some of your questions and possible misinformation you may have received.

I see your weight stats. I know you are 16 years old from another post you made earlier. How tall are you? Are you goals realistic to begin with? Some of the symptoms you describe can also be as a result of poor nutrition.

When you are alone in your head, you are in a bad neighborhood.

No, I hadn't change my weight thing recently..
Stupidly enough my scales were broken and I believed them.
I have managed in the past to lose weight from starving myself, but ill adventually gain it back. I know thats not healthy but sometimes I just lose the plot.
Im pretty short, my goals are realistic for my weight ive checked with my doctor if that was a good weight and she agreed with me.

Patriot, Im curious about what its like now for you.
Is it much better? Are you basically eating the same amount of veges as everyone else on here? And do you lose weight at the sorta speed as everyone else?
          Ready for change
