    Hi Everyone! Just came on to share a bit of an Atta Girl, pat myself on the back, kind of thing.
    This past week, I went on a 5 day camping trip. It was of great importance to me to stay on track, and not regain any weight as I am taking a trip to Montana to see family and ...simply.. don't want to gain any weight for any reason period. Anyway... I did lots of preparation before we went camping. precooked alot of my foods, chopping, cutting ect. so that the foods for me were all legal, and readily available to me in a snap. IT WORKED! I did great... never once was i tempted by all the fatting fare that everyone else was eating. I lost 2 lbs while camping! For me.. that is amazing considering how camping used to be alll about the foods, the junk! NOT ANYMORE!! I am soo pleased with me... I really have changed.

    Wow you should be proud of yourself - sometimes food for me was the ONLY highlight and its a mental thing we need to train our minds to block out and enjoy the rest of life Sometimes I really wonder that food is truly an addiction and it consumes our thoughts for our next fix. This habit just makes things worse and doesn't lead anywhere good - you got that "addiction" out of your body and you seem much more happier today!!! Congrats and keep up the success!

      Good for you!

      If you don't mind, would you be able to outline exactly what you brought, how you brought and stored it and how you prepared it in the Camping thread in the Low Carb Menu Forum. It would be helpful to others needing advice on camping, etc.

        Fantastic job, it sounds like you've really got a strong hold on your eating now.

        Goal #1 - 260 - Met 04/12/09! Goal #4 - 230 - Met 08/03/09!
        Goal #2 - 250 - Met 05/22/09! Goal #5 - 220 - Met 01/29/10 FINALLY!
        Goal #3 - 240 - Met 06/20/09! Goal #6 - 210
