  • I made it to my goal

    I weigh myself daily (I know, I know) and I've maintained a pretty steady weight at my goal for a week or so now, so I'm calling it: I've met my goal!

    That's the really good news. Here's the monkey wrench - once I started losing weight and saw it happen easily, I moved the goalposts, so depending upon which goal counts, I still have another 3 pounds to go! This doesn't sound like much, but given that I'm now losing weight at the rate of a few ounces per month, that will take a while.

    I think it's fair to call the extra three pounds my stretch goal, since I'm not aware that I've ever actually gotten my weight down that low. I sort of feel like a giant science experiment at this point, LOL!

    Great news!!

    I think many of us will have to reassess our goal weight when we approach it, as Atkins seems to change our body shape as well as our weight.

    So many people find they lose inches when their weight stays the same (or even increases) when they eat lowcarb that it makes previous ideas of what our ideal weight should be totally redundant!!

        Excellent news. Way to go.
        Maybe just keep working up OWL find your CCLM and include more foods while you still look to see if more weight will come off.
