DaVinci vanilla syrup instead of vanilla extract?

  • DaVinci vanilla syrup instead of vanilla extract?

    I used the syrup instead of extract, which has sugar, in my morning egg dish and it seemed to work just fine. Does this substitution usually work in recipes?

    I would think if you use a similar amount of fluid as a substitute that it should work fine.

      I used to use vanilla extract, but didn't like the carbs, so I switched over to French Vanilla Capella drops which have zero carbs... I just keep adding drops until it tastes exactly how I want it to taste...
