hi im in the uk and have just started the diet lost 7lbs in 7 days so all is good i think.

I was just wondering how much is a cup? ie in pounds or ounces
ive been using a mug so its probably about 50-60grams.

50-60 grams of what? Water? I seriously doubt your mug is only 50-60 grams of water, because that would be terribly small mug.

A cup is 8 oz, so about 240 grams (236.something). But this only applies for water. A cup of raw cauliflower (remember you need to measure your veggies raw) is about 100 g. A cup of lettuce is only 35 g. So the weight will vary depending on what you measure, because a cup is a measure of volume, not weight.
