  • What would you choose (induction)

    Hello

I've been on Atkins for about 2 weeks, and lost 3.5kg/7.5lb in the first week but nothing in the second .

I have to make a confession though: I'm not diciplined at counting stuff and if I try to count carbs I tend to waste a lot of time obsessing over it.

So my question is this: If you had to decide on one routine daily menu for a 2 week Atkins Induction, what would it be.

    Breakfast:
    Lunch:
    Dinner:
    Snacks:

HAHAH The carb counting diet without carb counting!!!!!

Lunch: roast beef and cheddar wrap (lettuce, mustard, sf bread and butter pickles)
Dinner: Garlic chicken, "mashed" cauliflower and salad

    Snacks: pepperoni and cheese sticks

      Bacon and eggs
Chef salad or nicoise salad without the potatoes. Oil and vinegar dressing.
Grilled meat/chicken/fish with a green veggie and salad.

This gives you variety within a limited range and nothing to worry about count wise.

      (take 2)
      GOAL TWO 213 (personal goal)
      GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND
      FINAL GOAL 165

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

If I decided on a routine for two weeks I would go crazy. I need some variation in my food.
Carb counting is going to be somewhat important here so try to get used to it. You are supposed to count carbs when you do OWL and be quite careful about it so ...

I agree with Liv -- I have no idea from day to day what my meals are going to be. You have to be diligent on weighing and measuring your food so you know the correct carb counts you're eating daily.

Go to www.fitday.com and put in your food on a daily basis after you're weighed and measured everything so you know what you're doing. I don't know how you've done it this long without do that.

Are you eating the correct foods - the ones on the acceptable food list? Drinking 64 ounces of pure water, exercising??????
