I read somewhere(can't remember where) that there are ceartain supplements/vitamins I can take that will help during your first couple of days of starting induction....potassium maybe? Something that is suppose to help the "induction flu" not be soooo rough! Also if anyone has any tips on not only giving up the carbs but giving up the diet soda!! I am a Diet MT Dew addict and am thinking I should just start cold turkey with everything...get the worst part over!! Just suck it up??!!!

Re: What supplements do I need to take before I start induction?
Today is day 8 on induction for me. I started with a multi for men with no iron and fish oil. I do add some no salt(potassium) to my meals to help get that number up each day. I also drink at least 100 ounces of pure water daily. So far other than a slight headache days 4 and 5 I'm feeling better than i have in years!
As for the diet soda, i had the same problem. Before i started this WOE i drank a 2 liter daily of diet soda and maybe 2 to 3 cups of water. I worried i couldn't stop. So far i haven't had a bit of it and really don't miss it. I actually look forward to nice cool water now!
Good luck on your start!
