yes, it is a dairy product. But after rung two you would be fine with it.

But do be careful not to overdo your protein!

          From Chapter 11 of DANDR
make sure you are not consuming excess quantities of protein. When eaten to excess, protein converts to glucose.
Remember that Atkins is a high fat/medium protein/low carb way of eating - not a high protein one!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

            Just three things:
            1) Watch your protein-to-fat ratio (info on shake canister disagrees with Atkins)
            2) Protein gas stinks really bad
            3) Have you had low/no carb protein shakes before? I've tried 2 brands, and now have $50 in paper weights sitting on my pantry shelf. I recommend asking around for samples, either from a local GNC-like shop or from friends who already have the product.

Make sure you are eating the proper amounts of acceptable veggies, meat and cheeses before you start adding anything else.

Okay.... I just gotta ask..... What is protein gas? I mean, you're not eating beans... or Atkins bars.

Re: Zero Carb Vanilla 2lb ?

not sure if its allowed but, for the guilt free ice cream fix.

I use a couple cups of sugar/carb free jello with low carb whipped cream. 2 carbs per serving.

I eat this plus other types of ice cream about 2 or 3 times a day whenever I feel like it. I eat Breyers ice cream bars. ( carb smart version)

Maybe I'm lucky or whatever but it doesn't stall or slow me down at all at losing weight.

I've never had the protein powder, cause it involves work and thats against my religion.

Suffice it to say that when you see one of the guys in the office suddenly get up and leave his desk, you need to leave as well.

I don't know if it's the type of amino acids in the powder or some other ingredient, but the term SBD (silent, but deadly) was probably coined for protein shake consumers! I've witnessed this with both the Cytosport and GNC Pro Performance products.
