I LOVE SparksPeople ! I've tried FitDay, but SparksPeople is my choice! I love the little challenges for Points and the exercise info as well as the ability to enter your own recipes to add to your food choices. FitDay may have the same thing, but it appears that once you chose one or the other, that's usually what you stick with since you input so much of your personal info. I vote for SparksPeople!!

      Re: Anyone on Sparkpeople?

I've been on SparkPeople for a while now. I didn't care for their food tracker probably because it offers suggestions for how to eat better which I don't want/need. Their food tracker does not seem to recognize low-carb nutrition goals or your custom nutritional goals so I would get typical nutrition feedback of "eat more carbs" or "eat an orange."

For example, when I ran my today menu through SparkPeople, this is the nutrition feedback I got:

      Carbohydrates too low.

When it comes to carbohydrates, it's important to avoid extremes. Too many, and you could gain weight; too little, and you could hurt your health. Carbs have gotten an unfounded bad rap in recent years, but they are actually the best source of fuel for your body and your brain. Aim for no less than 120 grams of carbohydrates each day (unless otherwise directed by your medical provider).

Carbs fuel the fat-burning flame. To burn fat properly, you don't want to skimp on carbs.
Ugh!! True you can try to ignore the feedback and just scroll down to the Carb/Fat/Protein breakdown at the bottom of the page. Personally, I didn't like my food tracker telling me how my diet was wrong...there are enough people who do that with Atkins already.

I do LOVE SparkPeople for all the health articles and those free exercise videos. I DO think their Fitness Tracker is a valuable tool and use it often. I just prefer FitDay for tracking my food.

p.s. I'm mizski over there too.
