    Fever during induction

I'm on my 10th day of induction. Everything is going well, I've been eating lesser as well. But I keep getting mild fevers at night. And serious headaches/migraines day and night. Constant fatigue and very thirsty all the time.

Is fever normal during induction period? I know there's something call the induction flu but fever doesn't seem to be one of the symptoms. Am I burning fats that's why feeling feverish??? Help!

No, fever is not a symptom of the so-called "Induction flu". You should see your doctor.

      Yep, Georgiana is right.

I haven't had a migraine since I started (I use to get them every couple weeks).

I would see a doc. And take your average menu with you in case the first thing out of his mouth is "stop Atkins!" Show him how healthy we eat. Good luck and I hope you're feeling better soon!

I feel flushed and warmer on Atkins but do not run a temp. If you are actually registering a fever do go to the doctor. Also how much water are you drinking? Dehydration can add to your headaches, too. Shoot for three quarts a day minimum.
