:help Has anybody had/heard of these? They are in the frozen food department. They dont list ingredients, nor do they say on the box 100% beef. I went to their web site and they dont list the ingredients either. I tried to write to them but it came back undeliverable.

I'm going to Walmart tomorrow to buy more, but if they are not proper for this WOE, i wont get any more.

I've never bought them, but I have seen them in the supermarket. They don't have the ingredients listed on the package at all???

That's odd. I'm going to stop by the supermarket on the way to the office tomorrow morning (need to pick up some non-perishables). I'll take a look at the box for you then. Maybe the ones in my area have the ingredients listed on them.

I just visited the website and the guy with the glasses has a good sense of humor to associate himself with "bubba", Texas-shaped hamburger patties and he also offers hormone-free, quality beef!

It looks all induction friendly, minus the sweet onion and jalapeno burgers (as 2 examples). If you can afford the price jump, always go for the organic, hormone-free, grass-fed beef... Bubba's seems to offer this.

Thanks for the tip! I'll be looking for my bit of bubba now too.

just a question but if it is 100% beef what else can be in them?

http://www.bubba-burger.com/ you can call the toll free phone number and talk to them about it 1-877- TRY BUBBA it will cut you of at 7 numbers but it is okay to dail it all.

I'm afraid of fillers, perservatives .... non atkins things. They come with added onions and/or jalepenos but I like the plain burgers. Man are they GOOD!!!! I fry them in a pan and then put mayo and sometimes cheese on it and cut in little pieces in a bowl. Soooooooo good!!!!

I called the toll free number a little after 7pm, but they are closed right now, I guess. I'll keep trying, but I thought maybe the people here would know something.

I find it ridiculous that they just dont say on the box "100% BEEF" if they are all beef.

I did induction last March and only lost 17 pounds in 7 months and never cheated. I ate alot of Bubba Burgers and tend to wonder if this is the culprit for not losing. So this time around I want to be absolutly sure that everything I put in my mouth is 100% Atkins.

usually they have some seasoning added like the fast food places but that is it.

I used to get these (the plain ones), and they were DELICIOUS! I was eating them while I was losing most of my weight and didn't notice any stalling.

My aunt told me to get them because they are 100% beef, but I never did see any hard evidence. Now I'm wondering why they didn't just put "all beef" on the box or anything if there aren't fillers :confused

I eat Bubba Burgers all the time. Look on the back of the package. The second sentence says Bubba Burgers are made only from beef chuck.

Gosh I'm glad I found this thread and read all the posts....because I just had two Bubba Burgers on my first day of Induction...and it would have really sucked to know they weren't good for this phase because like everyone else...I really thought they tasted good.

                            Re: Bubba Burger

They are pricey but delicious!! And nice to have in the freezer for those days when you don't really have time to do anything else. I figured they have to be just beef -- except the onion or jalapeno ones which we didn't try.

With the mad cow scare my 13 yo daughter doesn't want to eat beef from just anywhere. So I have convinced her that the more expensive places like Costco or Bubba burgers are "safe". No more Aldi's beef for her.

MMmm, I used to eat those all the time, but have kind of forgotten about them for the past year or so. Thanks for reminding me!

But yes, they are Atkins-friendly and very very tasty. I don't know WHY but these taste sooo much better than other frozen meats have ever tasted to me.
