Welcome back - thanks for sharing your journey with us...I'm sure we've all wondered... Don't forget that a lot of those foods will come back in the maintenance phase - you aren't giving them up forever. Best wishes for getting back on plan quickly & easily

I agree with that. I do not eat the honey and the raisons and rice does quite a number on my bloodsuger but I do eat low carb breads and fruits. So for me personally it would make no sense to go off plan if those were the foods I wanted because I can have them now.

You are quite a disciplined lady I must say. It must be a good feeling to know you have that kind of control. I know I don't
Welcome back. I am glad to have you here again.

Things I learned: I CAN do low cal if I want to switch it up for a bit... but don't expect to lose... Rice and bread and cereal just didn't taste as good as I remembered... Fruit tastes way too sweet. The extra energy from carbs felt like 'fake' energy... I miss being an Atkineer! I'm actually looking forward to hopping on the scale tomorrow!
        Welcome back!

And yes, I think fruits are much better with cream or some cheese , so that they don't taste so sweet as eaten alone.
        OWL rocks!
