  • It doesnt seem to work for me :(

Monday will make two weeks, it would have been Sunday but I didnt know what I was doing on the first day so I am not counting it.
I have gotten over the induction flu, and have NOT cheated, except for a handful of nuts once or twice, but other than in two weeks I have only lost 3 maybe 4 lbs and nothings feeling loser clothes wise.
I am trying to drink alot of water and recently cut out the diet coke because of the aspartame. I cant quite kick the zero carb energy drinks because of how drained I feel sometimes. (Anyone have another solution? I work in a high stress job and its not uncommon for me to work 12 hrs a day.) Its pretty hard to work out when your physically exhausted.
I still havent given up in hopes something gives. I am turning thirty in less than three weeks and I was hoping this would be the answer to not feeling fat when on my bday.
I dont have alot to lose really, 25 lbs would be more than enough.
    Any tips would be great.
I am eating fish and lots of salad, and I take all my vitamins everyday.

    I just dont get it...

Thank you in advance for any reply.

Congrats for the 3-4 lbs! This means you do not have a high metabolic resistance and, since you also don't have a lot to lose, it would be best for you to move to OWL your 14-day Induction is done.

In the first two weeks of Induction, done by the book, most people lose 5-10% of the weight they need to lose. For you, 3-4 lbs out of 25 means 12-16%. Your results are excellent.

I agree with Georgiana... you're doing really well. Don't worry and just stick to the plan. If you manage to add in extra movement/exercise, despite your gruelling schedule, I'm willing to bet you'll be at goal before you know it!

Georgiana showed me Fitday, it lets you type in what you ate and spits out all the %s and calories and everything. I was needing to up my fat and lower my protein and didn't even know it. I think its a great site for planning what to eat and keep on track. The first time I did induction, I don't think I measured my salads and veggies. I just guessed. I usually stall out for a few weeks after I do induction. But since I've used Fitday to change my diet a little, the scales have moved a little already. They say the last 30 pounds or so is the toughest to loose and I'd have to agree. Don't give up though.

My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

        1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
        2nd mini goal: 140!
        3rd mini goal:135!
        4th mini goal: 130!

I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.
