I posted a few weeks ago about how no one has noticed and/or commented on my weight loss. Then today someone mentioned that my "new haircut" makes my face look thinner. Well, I don't have a new haircut. In fact, it's time for a haircut. So this afternoon I cropped my face out of a photo from April (before I started Atkins) and another picture from last week (after 10 weeks on Atkins) and I think I can see a difference. I guess that's why you're supposed to take photos and measurements to document change. I was too embarrassed to take photos before starting, but I'm glad I was able to find one to compare with.

Re: Seeing physical changes...
Wow, I can see a big change in your face, it is much slimmer, your double chin is gone and your eyes are way brighter. Good for you! When did you start? I started on Monday at the same weight you did and I am really glad to see you had such great progress. I can only hope for the same!
Good for you!Started September 15/09

Re: Seeing physical changes...
Thanks you guys! I started on May 25, 2009. I don't know why I don't have that in my signature anymore. I still don't feel any different size-wise, but I know that will come with time. I do sleep better, am able to walk over 2 miles at a time, and don't get winded carrying groceries up the stairs into our house. But I'm also exhausted every night (at least no more insomnia) due to the more active lifestyle.

Re: Seeing physical changes...
You can definitely tell the difference in those photos!

My body seems to lose weight and reshape in cycles... but never at the same time. So the numbers will go down but I look in the mirror and see the same thing... then all of a sudden I look in the mirror and see a different shape and when that happens it's usually when the numbers are stuck.Mitzi
