Motivation

My 9-year old and I are at the store the other night. Out of the blue he comes up to me and gives me a big hug, then says:

Him: "Daddy, I can give you REAL hugs now."

Me: "Thank you for the nice hug. What do you mean REAL hugs?"

Him: "My hands can touch."

Me: "Yes, you are getting soooo much bigger!"

Him: "No, Daddy. You are getting smaller."

Me: <sobbing> "I think it's a little bit of both."

The other day my daughter asked me if I my weight was getting smaller so I can wear my wedding ring again. *sigh*

Awww... amazing the truthfulness that comes from kids!!! Great Job.. Just imagine how much more your life will be once more and more activities will be done together.

My youngest boy told me a couple of years ago that my butt wasn't as big anymore. Not, that I didn't have a big butt, it just wasn't as big.
