  • Leg Cramps

    Everytime I tried Atkins I end up having to stop because of unbearable (as in lets go to the hospital) leg cramps. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to stop them.

      I take a multi vitamin, vitamin e, magnesium, calcium and potassium.

        I find that I get cramps if I'm not drinking enough water.

          and I find that I get leg cramps if I drink too much water and don't eat enough, lol.

          a glass of tonic water always takes care of the cramp, though.

            I'm like momtofour...I need at least 80 ounces a day, or I get leg cramps too. Good luck!

              How many mg of Magnesium are you taking daily? That's the mineral for leg cramps...

                  potassium will help majorily! i just had a leg cramp yesterday morning, i was almost in tears!! and im still limping today bc it hurts so bad! its the worst!
