  • Mad Tea Party!

I've never been a fan of Tea but I have just started drinking it to help me get over my Bronchitis and soothe my throat. I am starting to acquire a taste for it. Been mostly drinking Decaf Green Tea because of the antioxidants.

Was curious what kind of tea you all drink/reccomend and which are the healthiest teas?

    Re: Mad Tea Party!

Good question, I couldn't do this WOL without tea!

    I drink:
    - decaf black tea with a bit of cream. Gets to taste like 'normal' after a while
    - Redbush tea is naturally caffiene free. My friends have this will milk (I think cream might work) but I think is foul with milk, plain is best. Sometimes called Rooisbush
    - I like white tea (which wikipedia says has higher level caffiene that green tea, but I wouldn't say is like standard tea in that way. Nice plain or with blackcurrant flavouring.
    - Green tea too

I used to drink herbal teas but they just give me headaches. I'm not sure why. The heavily perfumed ones always did anyway.

Right now I am drinking decaf green mixed with white tea. I will have to look for and try the Redbush tea.

I tried one of those herbal relaxing teas and all it did was wake me up all night long. I actually like the smell of the herbal teas but they are perfumey!

Plus I think the tea is helping with my weight loss cause it keeps me full between meals!

I drink a lot of tea. Mostly in the winter to keep myself warm. The teas I have in house are:

        - Green Tea with Lemon Grass (This is SO good with honey...to bad)
        - Green Tea Pure
        - Green Tea Eucalyptus and Mint
        - Black Tea (Darjeeling and Prince of Wales Tea)
        - Peppermint Tea (Very good if you need a little more help going to the bathroom)
        - Indian Chai Tea with vanilla (Yum!)
        - Women's Balance (Raspberry Leaf Tea, takes the edge off of cramps)
        - Bed Time Tea (A mixture of herbs to relax you)
        - Camille Tea
        - Vanilla Green Tea
        - Apple, Fig, and Date Tea (Taste like a cookie :P, can't wait for rung 7 to have this again.)
        - Earl Grey
        - Honey Tea (good if you have a cold or sore throat)

My boyfriend bought me a tea box to store all of my teas in a few years ago...it is over flowing big time but hey I like my tea.

I love the Celestial Dessert teas. I did not even now that teas could be so pleasurable before I tried some of those.
I also drink decaf green tea. It is calming for me

When I drink tea, which is rare, I like Constant Comment - a Bigelow tea. It has a hint of orange in it and always seemed to calm me.

I really like the Good Earth Original tea. It's naturally kind of sweet with a bit of cinnamon in it. Everytime I have it at work everyone wants to know what smells so good. with a dollop of whipped cream on top it is possivly decadent.

Wow they all sound so delish, will have to keep an eye out for them! Whipped cream good idea! I am also looking for a tea that boosts immune system for I have gotten sick 8 times in the past year!
