  • Would it be bad for me to go back to induction?

I feel like now that I have added carbs to rung 7 I am struggling much more now with hunger than I did on rung 1 even if I get the bulk of my carbs from veggies. I am almost at 20 carbs today and my hunger has been completely under control.

I know I probably cant eat at 20 grams of carbs forever, but I am thinking once my weight is lower I will be able to eat more carbs with less hunger?

Hunger can be due to two things: either you aren't eating enough or you are eating something that is messing up your blood sugar.

This is the time to go ahead and look at your total calories. If they are low for your body, eat more.

Also review your menues. Look at every single food and their ingredients you are eating. We had one member who was drinking a "sugar free" ice tea, and she found out after a months long stall that it contained high fructose corn syrup.

If you are estimating your foods, start measuring them again to make sure you really are eating the amounts you think you are eating.

If you can figure out if the hunger has occured with the addition of a new food, drop that food and see what happens.

Rung 7 so far is a killer for me i have been adding half a piece of fruit to my diet for awhile and when ever i eat it my hunger litterally doubles

but then my stomach was starting to get upset lately so iv gone back to rung 2

my mom has crohn's disease so maybe my stomach is missing a gene that allows it to handle some carbs like fruit

before i started atkins my stomach was litterly destroyed and my life was basically ruined but then 6 months into atkins and my stomach was fully healed my stomach is perfect up to rung 2

rung 3 and 4 can work if im very careful

i also cant handle fiber like other people can i really need to keep my fiber low when i cook broccoli i cut mostly all the fiberus stems off so only the top parts are left
