    Re: vitamin c

Are you taking a multi mineral/vitamin tablet too?
Vitamin C would be fine - but often sweetened. Because it is so acid most tablets contain a lot of sugar and you have to stay away from sugar. Make sure you check and buy sugar free ones.

jake, stay away from aspartame and other artificial sweeteners in vitamins. They are excitotoxins and tend to contain large amounts of methyl alcohol.
The neuroexcitotoxins act in the brain to stimulate appetite and methyl alcohol has long been recognized in medicine for its ability to block metabolism.

Carbs make a difference - every single one counts.
That is one of the fundamental truths about low carbing.

Why does it have to be a chewable?

And does your multi contain iron? It shouldn't, unless you have been so advised by your doctor.

I used to eat those huge vitamin C tablets like candy... well yeah they were loaded with sugar LOLOL

I take a good multivitamin now and a regular vitamin C that must be swallowed.

                          Yes they are fine.

They make the chewables like candy so folks will find them palatable. That means sugar added. The tablets are better for us.
