  • What You miss from being fat?

    1. The first thing I really miss is my butt. The extra fat was great for sitting and bike riding. Since i lost the weight, I lost my butt and now sitting on un-cushioned seats are pain full.

    2. My cup holder....My belly used to be round enough that I could balance my drink on it while on the couch. It was a built-in cup holder and now since I lost the fat I lost my cup holder.

hahah the cupholder one is great.

I miss the satisfied and relaxed feeling GORGING on food would give me. I coiuld wolf down a large Papa John's with Pepperoni and extra cheese and a few glasses of diet coke in no time! I'd be on the couch for awhile after that (sick to my stomach) but able to stay put.

Dieting and losing weight makes me really really energetic. I have a very busy morning today then this afternoon DO want to be able to get some "quality" couch time with BAD TV hahh It's harder for me to do nowadays.

    Quirky I know.

Also stay too cool.Several inches of insulation gone.I think it will just take time to adapt but this winter could be harsh. Will look good in sweaters though, lol.

What a great perspective lol. I'm back to being fat now (not for long, I'll add!) but when I lost all that weight before, the only thing I remember missing was sleep!! My bed was surprisingly uncomfortable without my extra padding.

I'm colder now - in between hot flashes....LOL. My hands and feet are cold a lot of the time.

But to answer this question honestly: What You miss from being fat? Nothing!

Re: What You miss from being fat?

              What do I MISS? Seriously?

People making fun of me, staring like I'm a freak.
People talking about me within ear shot so I can hear it.
Not fitting into booths when I went out to eat, so I can't go the places I enjoy.
Not getting a date, women breaking eye contact with me, treating me like a disease.
All the women in online dating sites ignoring me, closing the match.
Sweating profusely all the time, having to carry a paper towel.
Not being able to walk from my car to the train without thinking I was passing out.
Losing all my self confidence, walking around with my head hanging.
Paying $30 for a t-shirt cause I'm too fat to fit into normal ones.
Shopping at the depressing fat stores.

Yeah those were good times. But seriously, I miss absolutely nothing. Zilch.
              What I do:
Elliptical gym machine 1 hr Tue-Sun
At 320, switch to cycling on my Trek 500
              2 filtered containers water/day
              Daily salads/veggies

              Goals:

Stop needing High Blood Pressure meds - DONE!
              Workout in a XXXL shirt

I miss nothing. My boyfriend was complaining that he misses my butt aswell but I just point out it is still there, now it is just firmer, rounder, and a lot smaller.

I too get cold a lot easier. It is going to be **** this winter

I forgot about the sweating 24/7.... wow.

Fat is kinda comfy though. Like now I have the thing where if i sit a certain way, my butt/legs fall asleep. Same if I rest 1 leg on the other the one leg falls asleep.

My dog misses it more then me. When I held him in the car he could use my belly to sit on. Now unless I hold him up he slides down. LOL
My doctor told me to stop having intimate dinners for four. Unless there are three other people.

When I lost before I remember it was painful sitting on the bleachers watching a game... so I bought a pillow chair just for sitting on the bleachers

I was cold all the time so I wore more thick clothing

and the bed WAS uncomfortable - which is why we bought a posturepedic...

I look forward to having those 'problems' again

Kinda funny: I took Yoga for the first time about 2 years ago and the instructor kept talking about "your sit bones". I didn't think anyone sat on bones...I've always sat on a nice thick layer of fat I think I found my sit bones a couple days ago...not sure how I'm going to feel about sitting on them when I lose the rest of my butt fat tho...
