I've been on atkins for almost 3 weeks now. Lost at least 16lbs and ideally want to lose another 5 to get down to 190 and thus be in the BMI healthy weight of 25. Is there ever a time when I can have alcohol on this diet? Went out with friends on Sat and it was boring as **** being sober and having to listen to everyone else repeat the same things over and over and over again!!

it is time to move onto the main weightloss phase of Atkins (ongoing weight loss/OWL) and start adding the various foods back in the order laid down to see which of them are foods you can eat regularly and still lose weight and if any of them affect your losing in a bad way and might need to be restricted or avoided.
