Hi, there! So sorry you're having problems with your sinuses... they do sound serious. Please be aware that you'll probably be given glucose by IV. You need to talk with your surgeon about this ASAP. It will get you out of ketosis and your doctor needs to know you're in it - and you don't want to be out of it. No telling what s/he will do but PLEASE tell your surgeon!!

I am almost 1 full month on Atkins and down 22 pounds and doing great. Have not wavered at all and still on extended induction.

However, I am having some MAJOR sinus surgery (6 procedures in one operation) and part of the surgery is very delicate so i am a bit nervous. I have major messed up sinuses in all areas of my face. I have been warned that when I come out of surgery that I could have some eye damage from part of my sinus removal behind my right eye... I am crossing my fingers I am not one of the 20%.

Anyways, for the first couple of days he wants me on a liquid type diet . What can I have???? Right now I dont eat any soupy type things so then I started to worry about my diet during this time on what I can eat.

HELP!
