  • Cream cheese and chocolate fix? Is this right?

Can someone clarify for me if the following recipe is acceptable? I thought I read a similar recipe on the board but can't remember the ingredients.

It seems like you mixed the following ingredients together:

    Cream Cheese
    Splenda
    Baking cocoa
    Whipping Cream

And...if these are the ingredients...I can't remember the proportions!

    Let me know, please! :wave

I warm up the cream cheese til its smooth and creamy, the add enough cocoa to make it chocolate pudding like, then the splenda, its delish and it satisfies the cravings pronto!

Because this is a type of recipe that feeds a sweet tooth, in other words, continues to reinforce the lousy eating habits and food attitudes that made us fat in the first place.

it is a very acceptable by Atkins rules chocolate sub when you can't resist like for females at TOM time.

I've never seen it with both cream and cream cheese usually it is either not both and it is one ounce CC 1T cocoa powder and your choice of sweetner equal to the sweeteneing power of 2teaspoons of sugar (whichis one packet of Splenda. soften cheese ade cocoa and sweetner. mix. divide into 4 servings and freeze then you have .75 net carbs for packet sweetners and .5 net for liquid per serving.

Now if you wolf the whole recipe thing down on a daily bases you will be in trouble contolling your sweetthoot and weight loss but as an occasional dessert or treat they are very Atkins acceptable.

Karen Rysavvy has a name for this concoction from truly low carb.....It's called OIAB (orgasm in a bowl)

              whip the heavy cream w/splenda
separately blend the cocoa and cream cheese w/splenda
fold together for a terrific mousse
Make it a happy low carb life!

Here's another tip (I'm eating it right now)

                1/2 cup yocheese
2 tsp. white chocolate sf syrup
                1/2 tsp cocoa

blend and eat! This version has less calories.

just remember yocheese which is made by pressing the fluid out of the yogurt is still on OWL rung 2 cheese and we still have to count the carbs in our yogurt all of them per Dr Atkins unlike the go diet that doesn't.
