  • So happy I started when I did...

Yes...I'm still here in case you were wondering!! I am down 73 lbs. Only 17 more pounds until my original goal...but I'm feeling like I might change that. It was 150 but i think I will aim for 135...It's getting tough now though because it's coming off much much slower. Any ideas as to how to speed it up, I am doing cardio and drinking lots and lots of water...what do you think would happen if I went on a strict induction for a few weeks?

What would happen depends totally on your body. If your body is the type that loses really well on Induction you may see a speed up of the weight loss...but probably not like it was when you were at your highest weight. The less you have to lose when you start Induction means the less you will lose in pounds...just remember to compare % based on what you have left to lose. Since my total pounds to lose was 30.5, my weight is coming off slow. The first 2 days I lost 2.5 total...since then barely a pound and I am in week 2 day 2 and really strict.

You could try it and see what happens...or you could try backing down on your OWL rungs to see what is slowing you down...

Good luck either way and I am proud of you for making it this far!

Wow, you are doing GREAT! It's stories like yours that inspire me! You lost it so fast too! Are you working out at all? Maybe adding a little excercise would beef up your loss. Maybe just dropping back in one or two of your rungs will help spur those pounds off ? You should post some before & current photos of yourself, I'd love to see what 73lbs has done to transform you! ;o)

This is so good DETERMINED. I have just gotten in to the Atkins diet. This is week 2 day 2. Looks like i did a mistake. Typically i need to have husk since i get constipated. But this morning i didnt have husk but it was all easy ..no constipation. Is this a sign that i am out of ketosis? only thing i altered yday was i had some pickle that mom maid ..wiht red and green chillies and cumin seeds, garlic, curry leaf and little tamrind? pls suggest
