  • Now I see why people get confused....

I was reviewing the Atkins Low Carb Dieting -FAQ section and realized why people can get confused. We all agree that we go by DANDR2002 and there is information from Atkins For Life in there. Plus, it says that the bars and shakes are ok.....which I know they are not. Is it time to review/revise this section?

Carrie, does the post you are referring to say that shakes and bars are OK for Induction, or for further up the rungs? Could you direct me to it? There are so many threads there, that I don't have time right now to check all of them.

I do know that Georgiana has posted a good thread there, explaining why they are not allowed on Induction. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...have-them.html

OK I found it...but it does apply to OWL...it is in the Updated Power of 5 per Atkins Web Site....so maybe it is legit...but there were references to ACE which came from Atkins for Life.

Anyway...I am re-reading my book now...sorry about the wrong post, maybe we can remove it.

However...reading this section did let me find the post "Why the scales can lie" and I love it...I hope it gives me some newfound freedom from my scale.

The FAQ threads about Atkins bars/shakes say that they are not for Induction:

Whenever Atkins for Life is mentioned, it does not concern the "how to's" of the weight loss phases of Atkins. These are the only instances in which Atkins for Life appears:

I don't see anything that's confusing in this.
