Is Fitday ok for tracking carbs?

  • Is Fitday ok for tracking carbs?

    I put in 4 eggs and 4 tbs of mayo and it said 4 eggs was 2.2 carbs, and 4 tbs mayo was also 2.2 carbs. I didn't think those foods had carbs...is that correct?

    Eggs have carbs. And mayo is made of egg yolks, so it has some carbs even if it has no sugar added (the store-bought kind often has sugar in it).

      Well, it is a little higher than the Atkins link to carbs for the eggs.

      The Atkins link is .39 carbs per egg so 4 eggs = 1.56

      Fitday raw egg .4 per egg so 4 eggs = 1.5

      Fitday cooked egg .6 per egg, so 4 eggs = 2.2

      For some reason the Atkins link I printed is not showing mayo, but it does have carbs, even though it may not show on the product label because the serving size is so small.

        Thanks Georgianna and Mission For some reason I never knew those foods had carbs, but now I know. It's only a small amount, but now I can factor those into my daily carb count.

          Here is another link you can use, Georgiana helped me to find it again. I have way too many helpful links saved up but can never find them!!!LOL.

          There are also many websites showing carbs, nutrition, etc. I think we will always find them to be a little different in their numbers for some reason.
