    This sounds like a really good idea. We are going to Sam's this weekend and we are also buying a small freezer so that I can stock up on things like this.

        Since you had Medium, the carbs more than likely came from the sauce. Getting them sauceless is should be safer.

          Is it any harder to make the hotwings? I mean I've got a good hot sauce. Seems like you could just bake the wings with your own sauce pretty easy. I've seen huge bags of wings at the grocery, but I never tried making my own wings. Pound for pound it was cheaper to just sauce up a leg or thigh. I've used the hot sauce on a chicken breast and cooked it in the microwave. I find that I dirty a dish heating up the frozen foods anyway usually. You could make big batch of the wings and freeze the rest for later. I know it always seems like a waste to fire the oven up for one person. But I find the weight comes off better if I just cook stuff and avoid the processed foods. I always end up misreading the label or missing something that's been added to it. Sam's has roasts and stuff too and some good fresh stuff.



          My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

          1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
          2nd mini goal: 140!
          3rd mini goal:135!
          4th mini goal: 130!

          I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

            I normally don't order out, but that night I was running around looking for dress shoes for my daughter. Her daddy is taking her to a father/daughter dance.

            Anyway...normally I keep one of the 10 pound bags of Tyson plain wings in the freezer and fry them in canola oil (up my fat intake) then I drip some Franks Red Hot on them. It doesn't take that long...but I have to be prepared. Sam's is calling my name!

              Hint ... you can't assume that "plain" means they haven't been "plumped" with a dextrose solution.

                  Ok.

                  I've seen lots of flash frozen chicken that has been plumped or is frozen with a saline solution.

                  Lots of people figure that it's "just" chicken ... and don't read the list of ingredients.

                    Glad I searched for Pizza Hut wings while I was waiting for them to be delivered (didn't take me long so they let me cancel), its raining here so my Sunday golf game got rained out, I was thinking how good wings sounded 1 carb for 2 pieces as shown oon their web site sounded good , but 3 or 4 carbs per 2 pieces, eating 10 pieces would of messed up my induction, this board helps in many ways, I'm going to Kroger (didn't want to get off the couch, lol) to get some Tysons...

                      Looks like, per their websites, that Dominoes is pretty close to Pizza Hut (3 g per 2 pieces), Papa Johns says 1 g for 2 pieces, which may work, a 10 piece is gonna have 5 carbs, not too bad. Although I have gotten used to using my own dressing to be sure, Papa Johns says 1 carb per dipping cup.
                      Chili's looks like the winner, a full order (don't know how many, but their full order has always been fairly large) w/ Blue Cheese dressing and the celery stick was 5 carbs.
