    Hi Everybody,

one question: if you feel like eating a fruit which one is the best for people on Atkins?
    Thanks for your advice,

None on induction, unless you count tomatoes :-(

Berries and melons are step 4 of OWL, but only a quarter cup per day. Other fruit comes even later.

I had a sugar addiction and ate tons and tons of fruit. On Atkins I don't use any sweetener, and I haven't had any cravings for sweet things. You could try the same maybe if you are getting cravings

Yes like Rosie says this is a low carb and a low sugar diet so especially in the beginning (firsts 14 days) we cut down on all sweet stuff - fruits as most of them are quite sugary are not going to be allowed.
Later on as we get better at handle things we may carefully introduce some.
You can have some avocado on induction - that is great stuff and it is a fruit (well maybe technically a berry)

As I have progressed through the OWL phase of Atkins I have introduces some fruits. I eat berries daily and some of the less sweet fruits quite often. I often have some grapefruit and a bit of apple (cause I like it

If you are craving sweet stuff - eat some fat and protein and look for hidden sugars in your meats and other things you are eating. Hidden sugar can cause you to crave.
Drink plenty of water (and you can have a few tablespoons of lemon in your water)

Jicama is induction friendly and can satisfy a fruit craving. There is an old recipe for mock cinnamon apples using jicama that is great. If you can't find it in the recipes forum, I can post it. It's also great sliced with a splash of lemon juice and a touch of sweetener.

Chayote squash fried with Splenda and butter and cinnamon is like the jicama fix. Mock fried apples and Induction friendly

Pureed pumpkin (NOT pumpkin pie filling) mixed with cream cheese and pumpkin pie spices tastes just like pumpkin cheesecake filling.
