  • has anyone heard of these?

    Shirataki MiracleNoodle Shop! anyone tried them, or what do you think about the "thought" of them....sounds interesting to me.

    highest weight 360lbs
    started atkins 315lbs
    current weight 295lbs
    first mini goal 275
    second goal 250

    Induction started Sept 30/09

    yes, here's another thread on them...



    I have had them and for me they were my personal nightmare in texture and smell... however, some people seem to like them.

    For myself, they've almost ruined pasta in general for me (I had some that looked like fettucini and anytime I see regular fettucini I get the urge to vomit a little in my mouth..haha)... which is not such a bad thing i suppose

        The information given basically describes the noodles as 100% fiber... no calories, no carbs, not much else. They appear pretty rubbery and slick, so I question how well sauces would stick to and flavor them.

        So I called our local health food market. They don't have the MiracleNoodle brand, but they do carry shirataki noodles with zero carbs, zero everything. I'm intrigued hmmmmmm
