Great work! It seems much more real when you put it into tangible terms. I especially like the comparisons you can pick up and feel. My favorite is picking up a bag of sugar in the store (approx. 5 lbs)...Last time around when I got to 20 lbs and tried to hold 4 bags I could not BELIEVE I'd been carrying that around on my body. It was SO heavy! I look forward to getting to that point again, and beyond.

Of course, inches count too...Don't want anyone to forget that.

        235 pounds = Arnold Schwarzenegger
Arnold only weighs 235??? Geez, I would have squished him at my heaviest weight! Hmmm...wouldn't that make ME the Terminator?

In total I have to lose more than one average adult woman. That's not so funny.

Thats funny...I was at the local Asian supermarket the other day talking to one of the women there and looking for some vegetable....and we talked about weight...she dragged me over to the rice section and said....pick up 4 x 10kg bags of rice...I couldnt....she said you have lost more weight than that!

The fact it was so tangible was ummmm it made it all seem real.

Re: If you think you aren't losing fast enough...

10 pounds= chemical additives an American consumes each year
120 pounds = amount of trash you throw away in a month
138 pounds = potatoes an average American eats in a year
140 pounds = refined sugar an average American eats in a year
Interesting info in that list. Some of them are pretty shocking too. Above are some of the things that change when following Atkins correctly.

For instance, I've been eating whole foods as much as I can for over a year. That + Atkins definitely changes those statistics:

very little = chemical additives consumed in a year
25 pounds = amount of trash you throw away in a month
                          2 small = potatoes in a year
8 oz. = refined sugar in a year (estimate on the amount of sugar in mayo and ranch dressing over one year)

That's a HUGE difference! And "they" say this WOE is bad.
