Quick question... isn't cream zero carbs? FitDay shows it as 1 carb per ounce.
Cream is not "zero carbs". If you thought this because of whatever is written on the label of the cream you bought, know that anything with less than 0.5 g carbohydrate per serving (in the US, a serving size of cream is 1 tbsp, I believe) will be listed as 0 g carbohydrate. Cream has 0.42 net carbs per tbsp.
If that's so, then butter can't be zero carbs either... confused
Butter is made by churning butterfat. The amount of lactose (milk sugar) left in it is tiny. 1 tbsp of butter has 0.00875 net carbs.
