  • Fell off the wagon..

    Hi all,

I am going through a really stressful period since August. I fell off the wagon, started with Carb Smart Icecream, then it progressed to wine and dark chocolate. I've gained almost 10 lbs back.

I started over this morning. I just needed to make that confession because I feel really bad about it and like I failed. A confession though is something I would of never done prior to starting back in May, I would have made excuses or lied about it.

I was 265 down from 315, now I'm 275 (I am homonal, but theres no excuse)

Any experience with starting over, feel free to give me a smack.

Ok, it's done, it's over - move on! Think about 'why', try to understand what made you do it, and how you may avoid this in the future. Plan ahead, get organized and get moving Be kind to yourself and have a great atkins day.

Yep, its done. Now you know that carbsmart leads you astray. There will be other things that do the same so you need to talk yourself out of buying them.

Yeah, and I dont even think it was cravings, it was mindset. Because I got lazy, and thought ok, why not pop. Why not wine. I was downing a whole bottle of Diet Rite somedays and when I realized the other day I hadnt drank any water and stepped on the scale, I said enough.

I jsut feel really bad about it.

Today...so I've had nothing but water, sausage, some hard cheese.

Going to make chicken salad for the afternoon / evening.

Learned I have an egg allergy so I think thats what threw me off, because a huge staple of my diet on Atkins was gone.
