  • soda water glad i discovered it

hey guys im halfway thru my 3rd week of induction, and i usually drink a mininum of 3 litres of water a day [ usually closer to 5 but]. and anyway with drinking that much water it gets a bit boring so i went and got sum sodawater [ just gassy water] all its got is a little bit of sodium but i sweat heaps at work all day anyway so that wont hurt , i gotta say its so nice and refreshing as opposed to normal tap water after a hard hot day at work coming home to sum nice bubbly water is so much nicer and rewarding than plain water . its funny but it still costs the same as softdrink lol, i dont even drink diet coke any more in the last 3 weeks only twice at family bbq;s cheers muz

Does it make you gassy or burp though? That's one of the turn offs of soda water or soda for me in general, it makes my stomach all urrrp.

I often order sparkling water when I am out for a special meal with family or friends. In a tall glass with ice and a slice of lemon or lime it looks no different to the drinks others are ordering and gives a nice 'fizz' feel so I feel like I am celebrating!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I'm glad to hear you are getting your plain water in before anything else!!! Good for you -- I bet it is nice to have some fizzy water at the end of a hot day! Keep up the great work

I love the stuff especially in summertime. A splash of lime or lemon and I'm in heaven.

i'm a devoted fan -- but instead of "club soda" i buy seltzer water -- exactly the same but with no added sodium. Great with ice and a slice of lemon or line -- or with a splash of flavoring (like raspberry). For me it really helps me drink more water. Nice clean taste.

                Hey Muzza,
I agree. I buy either Perrier or S. Pellegrino here in the states. It is my substitute for my nightly Martini that I have given up!
