  • I was sooo hungry

I was so hungry last night when I went to bed, that I was wishing for morning just so I could make breakfast, as I was determined not to eat anything that late (it was around midnight). Now its morning and I'm not hungry at all, sighhhhh.

Should I feed that midnight hunger when it calls, it doesn't happen very often, as I've never been a snacker particularly at night, and I'm never that hungry while in ketosis. I'm wondering now if my body was trying to tell me that I didn't eat enough yeserday (I skipped breakfast yesterday because I wasn't hungry in the morning).

You should NEVER skip breakfast ... it's the meal that stokes the fire of your metabolism!

If you're truly hungry, then you should eat. Sometimes hunger is really thirst ... so you might try having a glass of water and see if that's it.

There's also nothing wrong with having a bit of cheese or something before bed.

You can eat at any time of day or night on Atkins. Just make sure you really are hungry, not thirsty... and if you are... eat! (legal foods, of course)

              Re: I was sooo hungry

I am not much of a breakfast eater myself, I try to get up earlier and then I get hungry before its too late. I snack for lunch and then have an early dinner and then have a snack a couple of hours before bed. I definitely eat when I that hungry!
