  • Weird Throbbing

So, since I started low carb (not necessarily Atkins) I've had this weird throbbing feeling to the left of my stomach. It's just under my bottom rib. Anyone else have any strange feelings or new bodily changes associated with their weight loss?

And is this something I should be concerned about? What the heck is down there that would make such a ruccus?

    a,

Throbbing? Interesting... how long has this been going on? If it's been months, you may want to get that checked.

Only a guess here, but the gall bladder and bile duct are both in that region, and your body might be adjusting to the new way of eating.

    Hope it gets better soon.

It's only been since the first week of my dieting. I feel it all the time though in the last four or five days. Also, sometimes my shoulder and my chest pulsate. It's really weird.

I know I felt a little strange during the first week of induction, but I don't recall any pulsating or throbbing. If it continues, you may want to mention it to the doc.

Really before we start a diet and exercise regime it's always good to have a checkup and blood work done. Please be good to yourself and let a physician have a look.

The gallbladder is under the right chest, not the left...

I don't know what it could be but I just had to click on a thread with that title

Being as you got the okay from your doc, maybe some trapped gas moving around in there, I know low carb does strange things to my digestive track for a few weeks and then settles down.
