  • Crystal Light/Wylers

    Is it ok to drink the Crystal light pack or the Wylers pack. I love the lemonade and the pink lemonade. it helps me with my sweet tooth and helps me cravings for cokes, etc. They have no carbs and are sugar free but most packs have about 5 calories. Is this ok to drink during induction?

    It is "ok" as long as you don't go over your sweetener limit (3 servings/packets per day)... but it doesn't mean it's a good choice.

    I think you are fooling yourself. Feeding your sweet tooth is very generous of you, but killing it would do you more good in the long term. Otherwise you are only fueling the same bad eating habits that caused you to gain weight in the first place.

    Not quite sure why Crystal Light is better than Coke... but anyway... Crystal Light is not "helping" you with your cravings. It is only feeding them and making them come back again and again. What would really help you with your cravings is a glass of water and a snack that combines fat and protein.

      Make sure if you are going to drink the other stuff that you fulfill you body's need for half your weight in ounces of water, plain water, first. So if you weigh 240 that means 120 ounces daily. Then, each time you make a pitcher of crystal light, dilute it more and more and make it more watery. Just a bit each time. In a few weeks you will need very little of those chemicals to feed your sweet tooth and water will start looking just as good to you.
